Stop the Government Takeover of Healthcare Before It's Too Late
The Democrats are pushing forward with what Thomas Sowell recently called the Dismantling of America. The Healthcare Bill will cause medical costs and insurance premiums to skyrocket, dramatically increase taxes, provide healthcare to illegal aliens, ration care to elderly and disabled American citizens, limit your choice of doctors, produce a shortage of doctors, permit taxpayer funding of abortion, and cause millions of Americans to lose their current insurance, forcing them onto the government plan.
There is only one way to stop socialized medicine, and no time to waste.
We must make it clear to public officials that they will be voted out of office if they do not oppose it.
We gather here to take a pledge. We vow to vote out of office anyone who votes for the health reform bill, or any bill which expands the role of government. We further vow to vote out any politician who does not take a public stand against the bill and fight it. Silence is not an option. We demand that they declare their positions clearly and publicly.
By taking the pledge, you will enable us to tell your representatives how many votes they will lose by supporting the bill.
And simply taking this pledge is not enough. Please commit to calling and writing your elected officials, demanding that they defeat this bill and reject government control of healthcare.
After all, we live in a democracy. We, the people, can vote out of office those who abuse their power and the constitution. If we fail to do so, responsibility for the consequences lies with us. The choice between freedom and tyranny is ours.
